Yes yes, Daphne, Eloise, Penelope and co have their charms, but the older generation of Bridgerton ladies are quite the scene stealers.

Adjoa Andoh, aka Lady Danbury in the hit Netflix show, shared an incredible behind the scenes photo on twitter with co stars Ruth Gemmell, the Bridgerton family matriarch Lady Violet Bridgerton, and Golda Rosheuvel the spectacular Queen Charlotte.

Posing back to back with their hands shaped like pistols, one fan commenting that this was: "The Charlie's Angels reboot we really want to see."

Adjoa captioned the snap: "Gearing up for season 2..." And we couldn't be more excited.

While the gowns in this new snap indicate it was taken during filming of the Hastings Ball at the end of season one, ffilming for season two is currently underway!

As the series is an adaptation, we know quite a lot of what to expect from season 2. We know that the second book in Julia Quinn's best-selling series, The Duke and I, has been adapted, shifting the focus onto "reformed rake" Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his quest to find a wife.

After meeting his wife-to-be, her older sister, Kate - described as "the most meddlesome woman ever to grace a London ballroom" - is determined to put a stop to the betrothal, but unwittingly becomes the object of Anthony's desire.

Netflix recently confirmed that Simone Ashley, best known for playing Olivia in Netflix's Sex Education, has been cast as Miss Kate.
