Bridgerton's Rege-Jean Page features quite prominently in the racier scenes in Netflix's steamy period drama, which has caused embarrassment and much cringing amongst his family members.

The 31-year actor - who stars as the dashing Duke of Hastings - appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (5th February) when he revealed that he had to create a family Whatsapp group to warn his family about which episodes to avoid due to the amount of sexual shenanigans. Or, if they were brave enough to take them on, when to pop to the kitchen to put the kettle while *those* scenes played out in another room.

"We've got a family WhatsApp group, so there's a couple flashing red light emojis and there's the odd peach emoji... Certain people have threatened to rate my peach," he joked to host Graham.

"A couple of cousins missed the memo," he added. "So they're watching the show and I got a very stern message in my Instagram DMs just going, 'There really needs to be a cousin warning.'"

The star revealed that his cousins informed him they they "had to make so many tactical cups of tea - I left the room to make my tactical cup of tea and came back and you were still going!'"

Gulp!

In the drama, set during Regency London, Rege-Jean's Simon Bassett, aka the Duke of Hastings, falls for the charms of Phoebe Dynevor's Daphne Bridgerton, and much passionate lovemaking ensues. They are both expected to reprise their roles for season two, which was recently confirmed by Netflix.

The second instalment will focus on Daphne's older brother Anthony - a former rake who is now on a quest to settle down and find a wife. Filming is due to begin in spring. We can't wait!

The Graham Norton Show airs on BBC One on Friday night.
