How Bridgerton fans are reacting to Queen Charlotte and King George’s love story
We simply cannot get enough of the Bridgerton prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story which dropped on Netflix this weekend. And we’re not the only ones.
Fans have been taking to social media to share their thoughts on the Bridgerton prequel, which showcases the love story between a young Queen Charlotte and King George.
The new series has everything we’ve come to love and expect from Bridgerton, from epic balls and Regency outfits, to steamy sex scenes and an incredible soundtrack. But, even more so than in Bridgerton, we’ve definitely found ourselves reaching for the tissues as many heartbreaking scenes play out.
Fans of the show have taken to Twitter and we cannot agree with them more.
One person tweeted: “You did not go over the wall” “No George, I did not go over the wall” #Bridgerton #QueenCharlotte

And what an iconic moment that was, as we realised just how much they loved one another.
While another commented on this dialogue from Queen Charlotte: "#QueenCharlotte I CARE NOT FOR HIS SANITY. I CARE FOR HIS HAPPINESS. I CARE FOR HIS SOUL. LET HIM BE MAD IF MAD IS WHAT HE NEEDS."

While someone else added: "George subjecting himself to literal torture just so he can love Charlotte in peace while she just thinks he hates her. On top of the fact that we know how this all turns out like someone console me please… #QueenCharlotte"

Are Charlotte and George your favourite Bridgerton couple? They're certainly this fan's: "george & charlotte immediately became the #1 couple in the bridgerton universe for me after I watched his episode like willingly putting himself through hell just for the chance to be with her properly was so…wow…and they only went up from there #queencharlotte"
