Everyone's latest Netflix obsession Bridgerton features a huge cast with lots of familiar faces, but it still took most of us days to realise lead actor Regé-Jean Page, who plays Simon Basset, previously appeared in a Harry Potter film.

Admittedly it was a blink and you'll definitely miss it moment, but Regé-Jean appeared in 2011's Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as an extra. The actor also appeared in Waterloo Road in 2015, which is five years after Phoebe Dynevor played student Siobhan Mailey in the series.

But Regé-Jean and Phoebe aren't the only faces you'll recognise from your favourite nostalgic TV shows and movies. Tracy Beaker fans also spotted a familiar face in Lady Violet Bridgerton, played by Ruth Gemmell. Ruth starred as Tracy's mum Carly Beaker in the series and TV movie.

"I absolutely LOVED #Bridgerton on Netflix but I could not see Lady Violet Bridgerton as anyone but Tracy Beaker’s mum - she really was a famous actress after all," one viewer wrote, referencing Tracy saying her mum would be a famous movie star.

Potter fans will also recognise Bridgerton's Prince Friederich (Freddie Stroma) from the series as he played Cormac McLaggen in 2009's Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The rest of the cast also boast some impressive acting credits, with Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) starring in the likes of Doctor Who, Casualty, EastEnders, Law & Order: UK, Broadchurch, Silent Witness, Death in Paradise and Line of Duty, to name just a few. While Lorraine Ashbourne (Mrs. Varley) has also appeared in a long list of series and movies including The Crown, Unforgotten, I Hate Suzie, Law & Order: UK, Jane Eyre and lots more.

Told you it was an impressive cast.
