Julia Quinn, the author of the Bridgerton book series, has revealed one thing she'd change about the incredibly successful Netflix adaptation of her cult novels.

The writer is a huge fan of how the show turned out and generally says she wouldn't change a thing, but there's in fact one thing she says she'd like to have seen a little more of.... Prudence Featherington's iconic faint in episode one.

Julia shared a snap of the moment to her Instagram and wrote: "Prudence Featherington appreciation post! I tell everyone that there’s not a thing I’d change about @bridgertonnetflix — except maybe I’d like a few more seconds of Prudence fainting. Because seriously, guys, how awesome is Bessie Carter as Prudence??? Her expressions... her SINGING!!! Plus, her Instagram is awesome: @missbessb."

Bessie must be pretty overwhelmed to have the creator of the whole Bridgerton world single her out for such praise and appreciation and we'd have to agree. It may not have been the biggest role in the show but she totally nailed it.

If you were distracted by all the heart throbs, it's well worth watching the series again to see the wonderful things you may have missed first time around from the spectacular cast and creators.
