UK politics have become more confusing than ever over the past few months – just add in a few gowns and it could be the drama of the century.

That’s just what London's leading drag star Jonny Woo is doing. Marking an end to a memorable and bamboozling political year, his All Star Brexit Cabaret has arrived to clear a few things up – or just help us to take it all with a little pinch of glitter.

Woo has teamed up with Olivier Award winning composer Richard Thomas for a cabaret unlike any other. For one night at the London Coliseum on December 17, audiences can expect something a little more raucous than the home of the English National Opera is used to, as the stars of the city’s drag and performance scene come together to lampoon our collective political fate.

The show features appearances from some of the capital’s leading cabaret talent, including comedians Jayde Adams and Sooz Kempner as well as drag queens Le Gateau Chocolat, Myra Dubois and Diane Chorley, in the roles of Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage, David Cameron and Angela Merkel. The Theresa May Choir – where all the singers are dressed as the Prime Minister – will be providing more musical entertainment.

It’s sure to be a colourful affair, as dressing up is encouraged in audience members as well.

The All Star Brexit Cabaret began life as a part of Jonny Woo’s annual Un-Royal Variety Performance in 2016, going on to become a full-blown, sell-out show at the Edinburgh Fringe this year.
