In an exclusive interview with WWD, Bretman Rock admitted to being done with the beauty industry… well, kind of.
Bretman Rock, a well-known Gen-Z YouTuber, shared with the brand that he’s steering clear of beauty drama, even if it means stepping away from the beauty world.
So, no more Bretman Rock? Not exactly. The star has promised to continue being “that beauty boy” and wearing “makeup ’til the day that I die,” but he’s now shifting his focus to a new type of shade: eyewear.
“If someone’s going to have eyewear, it better be someone from a m*****f**king sunny state, which is Hawaii,” he said of the release. “Everyone here is always wearing sunglasses. I just thought, ‘What better product from a Hawaii boy to come out with then sunglasses?’”
The line is a collaboration with Dime Optics, a Los Angeles-based brand that was launched this summer by Zachary Gordan.
As we wait for the drop, pick up some of Bretman Rock’s previous eyeshadow palettes while you can still get your hands on them!
