We know a few things about Breanna Stewart to be true: the New York Liberty forward is a powerhouse on the basketball court, she’s an even bigger force to be reckoned with off of it (see the new documentary Shattered Glass for details), and her sense of style is—and always will be—unbeatable.
The athlete recently stepped out for the premiere of the aforementioned documentary, which touches on the experience of women professional athletes and, particularly, the behind the scenes lives of WNBA players. Alongside fellow Liberty player Jonquel Q Jones and former Los Angeles Sparks star Nneka Ogwumike, Stewart took the chance to tell her story and that of the league in the impending release.
And, at the New York premiere on Jan. 29, she took the chance to put her incredible style on display yet again. She stepped out in a black suit with white stitching and a white color-block panel on the hem of her slacks. She paired the mostly monochromatic look with tall black socks and black patent leather loafers.
“Incredible evening last night with even more amazing people to premiere ‘Shattered Glass,’” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post following the evening. “The lives of WNBA players are often unknown and @jus242 & @nnekaogwumike and myself told our stories in hopes of creating and highlighting more for our league!!! Thank you to everyone involved! @thewnbpa @malkamedia @puma.”
We never had any doubt regarding her ability to dress. She’s proven again and again at red carpet events and in pre-game moments that she has what it takes fashion-wise. We’re just glad she keeps putting her good style on display.
