Brands launch Chinese New Year capsule collections, adding to luxury buoyancy

As the Lunar New Year approaches, many luxury brands are getting us celebration-ready by dropping a limited-edition capsule collection featuring our favourite animal sign of 2022 – the Tiger.

Known as the king of all beasts in China, the Tiger roars its way into our hearts this 2022. Those who have binge-watched Tiger King on Netflix last year would agree.

Most brands have chosen to merge their archival designs with the Tiger motif, giving us striking, updated looks.

Take a look at some of these styles which you can shop for now.

As a juxtaposition, the women's range is clad in a delicate butterfly motif that appears on shirts, scarves, D-Connect sneakers and the iconic Lady Dior, Dior Book Tote and Saddle bags.

For the little ones, Artistic Director for Dior Home and Dior Baby, Cordelia de Castellane, has designed a range for children and babies. Expect a punch of the lucky colour red on jumpers, capes, hoodies and dresses.
