Brad Pitt addresses dating rumours
Brad Pitt has denied rumours that he's dated multiple women since his split with Angelina Jolie in 2016. The actor has been linked to Professor Neri Oxman, jewellery designer Sat Hari Khalsa, and most recently, Alia Shawkat from Arrested Development.
In an interview with the New York Times, Pitt was asked if he ever reads media coverage about himself.
“I don’t go out of my way to avoid it; I just don’t seek it out,” said Pitt. “I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years, and none of it’s true—I just flashed on something, but maybe it doesn’t mean anything.”
The actor parted ways with Jolie in 2016, ending their two-year marriage and 12-year relationship. The couple had six children together, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and Vivienne, 11, and sons Maddox, 18, Pax, 15, and Knox, 11.
Professionally, things have never been better for Pitt. His performance as a washed-up stunt double in Tarantino's Once Upon In Hollywood received critical acclaim after the film was released earlier this year.
“Once I got back out in the world, I realised that you have that ability to make someone feel good for a moment,” said Pitt. “I’m not trying to say anyone is being brushed with my greatness. I’m trying to say that I have the opportunity to brighten someone’s day. That’s a rare thing.”
