Bodybuilder Dubbed the ‘Iranian Hulk’ Is Punching Concrete Walls To Prepare for Boxing Match

As if the World's Strongest Fight between two former strongmen – Eddie Hall and Hafþór Björnsson – wasn't enough, we now have the World's Scariest Fight, with bodybuilders Sajad 'Iranian Hulk' Gharibi and Martyn 'Scariest Man on the Planet' Ford set to go at it in April 2022.

Given that this is the World's Scariest Fight, the training has had to be stepped up a notch too, and Gharibi has been sharing footage of him punching walls, crushing watermelons and bending metal.

Will any of these acts help his boxing? Probably not. Will a man dubbed the scariest man on the planet be intimidated by someone crushing watermelons? Probably not. Does it make for an impressive 4-minute video? Erm, kind of.

While Gharibi has been employing unusual training methods (perhaps he'd call them innovative), Ford has promised to put himself through the "most vigorous fight camp EVER", and has already gone from 23.7 stones to 22.5 stone by focusing his training on movement rather than lifting.

"What people forget," wrote Ford on Instagram, "is that before moving weights I was an extremely fit athlete. I promise you, in 5 months time, April 2nd, o2 Arena, I will be taking his jaw clean off.

"There really is no competition here, I don't expect any thing else but a clean TKO and then the most incredible after party London has seen. I can not wait to see all of you there."
