Boden's pink suit is going straight in our baskets

There's no denying it, January drags on, and on, and on. In our opinion, the best thing to do is to happily look forward to some of the exciting events coming up in spring and what to wear to them.

We feel Boden heard our prayers here, as it's recently launched this beautifully cut pale pink tailored suit, which we've been loving on Instagram.

After saying goodbye to our festive feathers, sequins and glitter, we're excited by the new season's fashion coming in now. And this suit is giving us that much needed pop of fresh colour.

Matching the suit together nails the block colour trend we're seeing everywhere for 2023, and it will make the perfect spring wedding guest outfit.

Pair it with pointed heels (or flats) that peak out of the bottom of the trousers, big earrings, and a cute wristlet clutch im a contrasting colour, such as pillar box red or emerald green.

The wide leg high-waisted trousers are very on point and we love the sleek silhouette they create. Made from stretch-twill, they feature a fitted waist meaning they're sure to be a flattering fit. They include useful side slash pockets and are finished off with a chunky button fastening.

While the semi-fitted blazer is single breasted, and features just one large button in the middle. It has front pockets with flaps and is fully lined, too. We're predicting it will be a key piece throughout spring and summer for layering and both smart and casualwear.

Although the jacket already has a slight oversized feel to it, if you want to accentuate it even more, you could consider going up a size.

Remember too, you're not just buying a suit. As with any two piece outfits, part of their beauty and appeal is their versatility, as they can be worn separately too, as well as together. So really, you're getting far more than just one look.

For a cool casual weekend outfit, wear the trousers with your best trainers, a crisp white T-shirt and a casual quilted jacket come spring. In the office, dress it up with chunky black loafers, a big-collared shirt and plenty of gold jewellery.

Meanwhile, the blazer will look great with dark blue straight or wide leg jeans as well as a bright logo tee, which would work as well for a relaxed work look, or a weekend lunch.

The pink tailored suit blazer is £150 and available in either petite or regular, in sizes 6-22. The matching high rise wide leg trousers are £85, and are available in the same sizes and fits as the blazer.
