Bobby Brown Junior has tragically died aged 28
Just five years after the passing of Bobbi Kristina Brown, and eight years after the death of Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown's son, Bobby Jr, has been found dead aged 28. Bobby Jr's elder brother, Landon, shared a powerful black and white image of his sibling along with the words 'I love you forever King' on Instagram. Bobby's mother, Kim Ward, dated Bobby Snr on and off for eleven years before he got engaged to Whitney.
It's reported by TMZ that a source close to the family said Bobby Jr was found dead in his LA home and that at this stage, police do not believe there was foul play involved in his passing. "Upon officers’ arrival, there was a person down at the location," confirmed a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police. No cause of death has currently been made public.
Bobby Jr's social media accounts show he was pursuing a career in music, like his father (who was at the peak of his success in the 80s and 90s, producing legendary hits such as Every Little Step and Two Can Play That Game). In recent years, Bobby Senior has re-established himself as a cook, launching Bobby Brown Foods (and a range of products, such as seasonings). He is yet to publicly comment on the heartbreaking news about his son.
On 27 July, Landon also shared a touching tribute to his daughter and half-sister, Bobbi Kristina, who was found unresponsive after accidentally overdosing in a bathtub five years ago, in eerily similar circumstances to her mother, singer Whitney Houston three years prior.
"11 years ago today my baby girl was born and changed my entire life," wrote Landon. "I will keep it simple so I can get back to partying with you, you changed me... Thank you so much for that. 5 years ago today my sister died, that day my daughter said to me, 'Is Aunty Krissi gone?' I said yes. She said 'Ok let’s have fun now and we can cry together later'. I wish you could both spend today together. I love you with my entire soul. Happy Birthday on this earth babygirl, and happy birthday into heaven sis."
