Netflix's latest horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor has been on Netflix for just over a week, and it's already gained a huge following of terrified fans, who love the show for its unexpected storyline and incredible cast. And it turns out that one member of that cast is known for a pretty different role than the one she plays in the horror anthology series. Namely, er... children's cartoon Peppa Pig.

About a week after the series aired on Netflix fans on Twitter were pretty shocked to discover that Amelie Bea Smith, who plays the extremely creepy Flora on Bly Manor, also voices the character of Peppa on children's cartoon Peppa Pig.

The Haunting of Bly Manor is the second iteration in the anthology horror series, and it follows the story of a tutor named Dani who goes to the stately mansion to look after two children, Flora and Miles. Before long, Dani starts to see strangers around the property and the grounds, and sinister events begin taking place in the terrifying mansion.

Flora, one of the children Dani looks after, creeped out viewers instantly with her dark stare and eerie dollhouse, so when fans on Twitter began realising that Flora and Peppa Pig are one and the same, many questioned whether they would find Flora as scary on the show now they knew of her past role.

Sure, knowing about the crossover might make Flora less scary, but isn't it more likely to just make Peppa terrifying...?

The Haunting on Bly Manor is available on Netflix now.
