Blooms for boys! New bouquets for men prove that flowers are not just for girls

Online flower company FunnyHowFlowersDoThat.co.uk has partnered with rapper Professor Green and Urban Flower Company to create a range of beautiful bouquets, designed for men to send to men.

The limited-edition 'blooms for bros' collection aims to tackle outdated stereotypes of flowers being feminine, encouraging men to swap booze for blooms without shame. It's not often we gift the men in our lives flowers, but they can enjoy receiving bunches just as much as women.

Available to buy online at Urban Flower, some of the beautiful bouquets include delphiniums, peonies, dahlias, and delicate lunarias — which symbolise wellbeing and inner strength. Expect scene-stealing pops of pink, playful textures and a palette that will instantly brighten any room.

As well as this, the first 20 bouquets will be given away for free where the recipient is male using the code CALMFLOWERS21. Brilliantly, all further proceeds will be donated to the leading mental health charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), to tackle suicide rates and depression.

"The inspiration behind the design was a conversation Professor Green and Matt shared about their own experiences and ultimately about why men rarely receive flowers," Urban Flower say. "The simple act of sending out and receiving flowers is a way of connecting, lifting someone's mood and letting someone know you are thinking of them without having to say much."

The free bouquets must be ordered for a male recipient within the London area. Free bouquets will be available on a first come first serve basis until 20th July, while stocks last.
