Prince George Looks All Grown Up In Mother's Day Family Portrait

A rare glimpse of the eight-month-old Prince and his family taken at Kensington Palace

Goodness, how he has grown!

Just in time for Mother’s Day the Palace have released a stunning portrait of the new family – Prince William, the Duchess of Cambrige, baby Prince George and their beloved pet dog, Lupo.

And Prince George, dressed in a super cute personalized jumper, certainly seems interested in Lupo!

The shot is wonderfully modern and definitely far less formal from some of the Palace’s usual offerings.

Kate, 32, looks as radiant as always – in particular now considering she is in theory, a tired new Mum –of-one!

The gorgeous pic was taken by award-winning photographer Jason Bell at a window of Apartment 1A of Kensington Palace.

This is the first time we have officially seen baby George since his Christening last October when he was also photographed by Bell.

However, it’s lovely to see the eight-month-old out of his ruffled gown and into a proper little boys' outfit!
Very handsome indeed.

His jumper is believed to be a bespoke design, created especially for the young Royal.

The unique powder blue design is thought to have been machine made using the finest 100 per cent cashmere yarn. So not exactly M&S, then.

But what else would you expect for a young Prince?

Happy first Mother’s Day to the Cambridges!
