On Tuesday, the actress turned 33 and, if her Instagram account is anything to go by, it involved a hell of a lot of food and jewellery.
Sharing photos of her birthday at home with her three daughters and Reynolds, Lively’s first snap showed a line of multi-coloured bows along her home’s landing.
‘Birthday highlights,’ she captioned the photo, adding: ‘Thank you to everyone who made it so special! I love you.’
She then enjoyed a McDonald’s-inspired muffin with ‘all the sriracha mayonnaise’ that looks so delicious, we're already on the Deliveroo app ordering a McMuffin. We have a feeling Reynolds might have been the mastermind behind this oozing breakfast creation.
Lively also shared photos of the New York’s Laboratoria del gelato birthday cake ice cream, her 1990s-inspired craft set and a new set of earrings and ring gifted my her long-term friend Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira.
The birthday girl also revealed that she enjoyed an at-home spa and four boxes of Ladurée macarons.
She also thanked her sister Robyn Lively for her Ross Bread croissants, noting: ‘Thank god we have 13 family and friends quarantining with us.’
Other presents included a High Camp Gardenia candle and a Jennifer Meyer gold necklace with the names of her daughters – James and Inez – engraved onto it with hearts.
It seems that the proud mum chose not to show the name of her third and youngest daughter, whose moniker is yet to be confirmed despite rumours following Taylor Swift’s latest album that she might be called Betty.
Lastly, the A Simple Favour actress shared a photograph posted by her personal trainer Don Saladino of the pair following a training session together.
‘Maybe the best birthday gift of all is when your friends post super flattering photos of you from years passed,’ she captioned the photo.
Earlier this year, Reynolds opened up about life at home during lockdown with his family during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
During the pair’s discussion on Fallon, he joked: ‘Of course it was a toss up who to spend quarantine with... my publicly facing family or my secret family in Denmark... I went with the Hollywood family and it's been great, it's a decision I don't regret at all.'
According to Variety, Lively is teaming up with Lin-Manuel Miranda, Richard Gere and Diane Keaton for an upcoming romance comedy titled, The Making Of.
The film reportedly follows ‘a pair of married filmmakers (played by Gere and Keaton) casting actors (Lively and Miranda) to play the younger versions of themselves — while their own marriage is falling apart’.
