If Blake Lively wasn't already one of our fave celebrities to follow on Instagram, she just posted a selfie which pretty much sums up everyone's 2020, proving yet again that she's the queen of keeping it real.

Now, we're not claiming for a moment that she's the only celeb choosing to shun filters in favour of a more authentic social media presence. In fact, it's becoming quite the trend for A-Listers to give fans a glimpse of their natural skin and hair texture.

Hailey Bieber shared a selfie of her recent pamper session, which included two spot patches on her cheek. The Undoing actress Matilda De Angelis revealed an angry breakout on Instagram and talked about being in front of the camera while battling acne. Jennifer Lopez ditched the makeup recently to reveal her new skincare line, telling fans: 'People wanted to know, so I felt like almost an obligation to put it in a bottle and say, "Okay, this is what I do with my skin".'

Even Kylie Jenner (she loves a filter, let's be honest) shared a gorgeous zoomed-in shot with zero skin smoothing, alongside the caption: 'No filter baby.'

Blake lively is mostly known for trolling her own husband, Ryan Reynolds, but she's also partial to the odd filter-free headshot. Like the time she posted a selfie of her decidedly haggard character in the film The Rhythm Section, and had to correct fans who thought she was bravely posting a no make-up shot.

Well, Blake's latest selfie was not for a film role, and it was so goddam relatable. She posted a picture of her face using the Vogue filter, but looking far from 'fashion magazine.' Her eyebrows had stragglers aplenty (same) and her hair was sticking out to one side with matted knots (also same). She added the caption: Get The Look and 2020 Edition, with what appeared to be a GIF of a trash can on fire....
