Blake Lively really is the gift that keeps on giving this month.

Just one week after dazzling in the most embellished, bejewelled Versace gown ever at the 2018 Met Gala, the 30-year-old star just dressed up like a real-life present for a date night with her hubby.

Last night, Lively stormed the red carpet with her husband Ryan Reynolds at the Deadpool 2 premiere. For the occasion, the mother-of-two wore the most glorious strapless black sequinned jumpsuit that perfectly complemented her svelte physique.

In honour of the film’s mercenary antihero, Lively coordinated her outfit to match the colours of Deadpool’s red and black costume. Cute or what?

Cosying up together for photos at AMC Loews Lincoln Square in New York City, Blake teamed her look with a large red bow and Jonatina sandals by Christian Louboutin. A slick of red lipstick and smokey eyes complimented the vampy aesthetic.

However, our favourite accessory of the actress' was undoubtedly her Judith Leiber Couture party mix slim slide clutch (available here.) The star carried a similar bag by the designer at the Met Gala which included a sweet tribute to her family of four.

Meanwhile, her beau sported a pink waistcoat and Cousin Greg Louboutin lace-ups to celebrate the release of the Marvel film, which incidentally includes a hilarious meta joke about the Gossip Girl star.

In the trailer, Deadpool says: ‘Doing the right thing is messy, but if you want to fight for what's right, sometimes you have to fight dirty,’ he says. ‘That's why Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants is pure pornography.’

Ahead of the release of the film, Reynolds opened up to PEOPLE about how he’s far more sentimental than his superhero character when it comes to expressing his emotions.

‘I can lay it on pretty thick. I’ve always been sentimental - since I was a kid,’ he gushed.

When asked how old his daughters, James and Ines would have to be before they were allowed to see the expletive film, Reynolds joked: ‘They’re 3 and 1 ½ right now. So, the 3-year-old is not gonna be able to see it for a few months.’
