Blake Lively just shared a glorious behind the scenes Gossip Girl throwback
Blake Lively just filled the Gossip Girl-shaped hole in our lives with a glorious throwback of her and the cast on set in 2007.
The famously stylish actor, who got her big break as Serena Van Der Woodsen on the show, shared the snap on Instagram with the caption "Class of ‘07 💋". And, erm, not to panic anyone but 2007 was 13 whole years ago (insert shocked face emoji).
In the snap, Blake is pictured alongside her baby-faced castmates including Ed Westwick (a.k.a Chuck Bass), Penn Badgley (Dan Humphrey or Joe from You), Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humphrey), Chace Crawford (Nate Archibald), and, of course, Leighton Meester (Blair Waldorf).
Oozing noughties nostalgia, the picture shows the cast wearing their fictional school's uniform, complete with preppy accessories including alice bands, chunky bangles and beaded necklaces.

Gossip Girl ran for six seasons from 2007 to 2012, following the high-drama lives of Manhattan's richest teenagers.
Earlier this year, fans of the show were delighted at the news that Gossip Girl is officially getting a reboot. Set eight years after the events of the original series, a completely new cast will take on the role of privileged Upper East Siders.
The original Gossip Girl creators, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, are confirmed as executive producers and the show's original producer, Joshua Safran, is writing the script.
Although none of the original cast members in Blake's throwback pic are expected to appear in the reboot, there's still plenty to look forward to with Emily Alyn Lind (Revenge), Whitney Peak (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Eli Brown (Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists), Johnathan Fernandez (Lethal Weapon) and Broadway vet Jason Gotay all confirmed as series regulars.
Oh, and Kristen Bell will be returning to her iconic role as the omniscient gossipy narrator.
The Gossip Girl reboot is expected to air in 2021.
