Billie Eilish unveils vegan-friendly Air Jordan designs

Billie Eilish has dropped two vegan-friendly Air Jordan designs.

The Bad Guy hitmaker took to Instagram on Tuesday to post two photos of her modelling the sneakers she created in collaboration with the team at Nike.

In the first snap, Billie wears a baggy black outfit and shows off a pair of pastel green Air Jordans, while in the second image, she poses in a white T-shirt, khaki shorts, and models a pair of beige Air Jordans with intricate shoelaces.

“I am SO excited to finally share my two Air Jordan silhouettes with you!! I’ve always loved @jumpman23 (Michael Jordan) and it was such an incredible and surreal experience getting to create these, especially in a sustainable fashion (100 per cent vegan with over 20 per cent recycled material),” she captioned the post. “Both launch 9/27 on store.billieeilish.com and 9/30 on the nike SNKRS app! and you can go behind the designs on SNKRS now for more!! Heheheeee.”

Billie was raised vegetarian and regularly advocates for animal rights and veganism.

In response to her post, leaders at non-profit organisation People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals praised the 19-year-old for her commitment to the cause.

“The colours, silhouettes, and vegan materials used (heart emojis). Thank you for thinking of animals and our environment in everything you do. Can’t wait to rock these!” the representative wrote.
