Billie Eilish "loves tattoos" and has revealed a trio of tattoos after previously saying this time last year that fans would "never see" the one tattoo she had back then.

The 19-year-old star sits down with Vanity Fair for their series "Same Interview" on October 18 each year, with this being her fifth time opening up to the publication. In the 2021 edition of the interview, that dropped onto YouTube on November 30, Billie opened up about having a change of heart in regards to revealing her ink. Feeling more content with herself, the singer who revealed in the interview that the person she was last year was "having an identity crisis" spoke about and showed off her tatts after being adamant that she would only get discreet pieces of body art, and that they would stay concealed.

Sitting down and answering the same questions as she has done since she was 15, Billie wore her blonde hair in a straight style, a fresh no-makeup look, and a bright red chunky knit jumper. Kicking off the video with her amount of Instagram followers, when Billie was 15 she had 257,000, but in 2021 she has over 94 million.

Getting onto the topic of whether or not she had any ink, in last year's interview Billie said that nobody would ever see them, but this year she was candid and open about her body art. "I have three tattoos now," she started off saying. Pointing to her sternum she explained she has one that says "Eilish" before saying, "Yes, I love myself."

Pointing to her thigh she said that she has a "big boy" tattoo in the design of a dragon (which was on display when she wore the stunning wine-coloured gown at the Met Gala), and then she revealed that she got her latest addition just a few weeks ago. Pointing to her hand she said that her latest bit of ink is of "some fairies that are from a book that I had growing up. A little fairy book called Fairyopolis. They’re like my little guardian angel fairies."

She went on to say, "I love tattoos."

Watching the past interviews back and comparing them with this one, it's so clear to see that Billie has grown so much into herself – and we love to see it.
