Billie Eilish Has Just Turned 20, And These Are All Of Her Fiercest Looks Ever

Given the fact that Billie Eilish has only just celebrated her 20th birthday, it's pretty astounding to think how much the singer has already achieved in her life. Her first single, 'Ocean Eyes', was released in 2015 when Eilish was just 14 years old, soon going viral and propelling her to mega-star status almost overnight. Since then, she has released numerous number one singles and amassed various awards including a whopping seven Grammys.

And alongside all this, Eilish has continued to serve look after look of killer red-carpet fashion, and always in her distinctive personal style. The singer describes her style as 'different' and 'memorable' – and that it certainly is, subverting what is usually expected of celebrities on the red carpet with her preference for loose-fitting clothes, bright colours, loud monograms and trainers.

Eilish has spoken publicly about her historically negative relationship with her body, wearing baggy clothes for her own comfort as well as to avoid having her body scrutinised or sexualised. The singer has also spoken out against body-shaming, revealing her own experiences and releasing a short film which explores the subject, entitled Not My Responsibility.

More recently, however, Eilish's style seems to have evolved beyond her early, more out-there looks, with a change to platinum blonde hair and more high-fashion dresses than we've ever seen on her before – many of which incorporate her latest, rather unexpected, penchant for corsetry.

The singer opted for a deep red monochrome look which perfectly matched her newly brown hair. The floor-length quilted coat is straight out of our dream winter wardrobe.

Eilish rocked the glamorous goth look for the LACMA Gala, in a monogrammed sheer black top, seqinned skirt, lace bra and fluffy coat – all by Gucci. Her platinum-blonde hair provided the perfect contrast.

For a recent Gucci runway show in Los Angeles, Eilish served her own unique spin on vintage Sixties style in a deep mauve lace two-piece, platform sandals, jewelled head piece and cat-eye sunglasses.

Eilish was chosen to write the theme song for the latest James Bond film, and attended the London premiere in an unusually understated all-black look in a Gucci suit and logo sandals.

The singer opted for Oscar De La Renta once more for her second Met Gala look. This time, it was inspired by Grace Kelly and featured a thigh-high split and sheer cape for extra Old Hollywood glamour.

Undoubtedly one of the most stand-out looks of 2021's Met Gala, Eilish channeled Marilyn Monroe in a peach, 1950s-style gown by Oscar De La Renta.

The singer wore a gothic floral Gucci suit with matching bucket hat, mask – and even manicure.

For the live premiere of her film, Billie Eilish chose an oversized puffer jacket from the Gucci x North Face collaboration.

Billie opted for classic British brand Burberry to attend the Brit Awards in London, as well as her classic XXL nails and neon green roots.

For her Oscars debut, Eilish wore an oversized, white Chanel tweed suit complete with bejewelled logo brooches and branded lace cut-off gloves – plus a few gobstopper diamond rings for good measure.

The Matrix but make it high-fashion: Billie wears a glittery monogrammed Gucci suit over a green, crystal-embellished roll-neck, and tops the look with Keanu-style sunnies.

Never one to shy away from a bold look, here Eilish wears an oversized Louis Vuitton look in lime green with matching sunglasses and tonnes of attitude.

For the 2019 Women In Music event, the singer beautifully blended practicality and style in a utilitarian, camel-coloured Prada jacket and matching shorts.
