Doesn't Beyonce wear motherhood well? Since giving birth to baby Blue Ivy, we've seen her working Versace's venetian print with a black fedora and black loafers, leather leggings worn with Isabel Marant wedged sneakers and pastel jeans topped off by Charlotte Olympia kitty pumps. We're used to seeing the bootilicious diva sashaying through town wearing fierce heels with form-fitting frocks so her laid-back outfits with fuss-free flats have got the office ahhhh'ing. And now the 30-year-old singer has revealed she's become quite accustomed to her new low-maintenance look.
In the new issue of People magazine, which crowned her the world's most beautiful woman, Beyonce admits that motherhood has transformed her style. 'I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels,' she reveals. 'Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love them because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too.'
And it seems that hubby Jay-Z likes the chilled-and-chic approach too. 'He loves it when I wear flat shoes, which is surprising - he never saw me in flats before! He likes me more natural - just the relaxed, natural me.' We rather like it too, Bey.
