Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has shared rare pictures of her twin toddlers, Rumi and Sir Carter, in a round-up of 2019 on Instagram.

To say that Beyoncé has had a busy 12 months would be something of an understatement, with her history-making headline performances at Coachella and her starring role in the live-action adaptation of Disney’s The Lion King.

And to mark the first day of 2020, the singer shared a short film on Instagram showing pictures and videos captured throughout the past year, which she dubbed her “Bey-Cap”.

Among the 38-year-old’s recap are several images and video clips of her twins Rumi and Sir Carter, who turned two in June.

During one point of the “Bey-Cap”, the toddlers can be seen sitting together outdoors in front of a large “two” sign and an assortment of balloons as they celebrate their joint birthday.

Later on, Sir walks through a garden while holding a toy aeroplane.

The video ends with a portrait of Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s whole family, Sir matching his father in a black suit and bow tie, and Blue Ivy and Rumi in white dresses to match their mother.

Considering Beyoncé rarely shares pictures of her youngest two children, many members of her Beyhive have expressed their excitement over seeing snapshots of the toddlers.

“This is beautiful. Omg,” one person tweeted.

“Rumi and Sir Carter soo adorable,” another remarked.

Someone else commented that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have a “beautiful family”.

On 1 January, rapper Megan Thee Stallion shared two photographs on Twitter of herself celebrating the new year with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy.

In the pictures, Beyoncé wears a “Happy New Year” headpiece as the trio pose for the camera.

The tweet has currently been liked more than 344,000 times and retweeted more than 61,000 times.

“The absolute power in these pics,” one Twitter user stated.
