The name of the upcoming fragrance, Cé Noir, may be a nod to the perfume’s origin, which according to Beyoncé’s website, was created in France. The literal name Cé Noir loosely translates to the phrase this black.
Accompanying the “Renaissance”-themed bottle’s packaging is a caption that states the upcoming scent is now available for preorder (for $160) at beyonce.com.
Beyoncé announced the fragrance while on tour in July. A small tab on her official website also stated the notes of the perfume included clementine, golden honey and golden amber. Beyoncé’s team even handed out smell stick samples of the fragrance to fans during the tour, and the songstress closed out the tour in October by spraying herself with the fragrance while singing “I’m That Girl.”
Beyoncé last fronted her own fragrance in 2011, called Heat. Packaged in a fiery-red bottle, the notes included peach, almond and orchid.
