Beyoncé gloriously brings back the nameplate necklace trend
Beyoncé is bringing back the gold nameplate necklace trend, and is looking all kinds of incredible while doing it (though we really didn't expect anything less from Queen Bey).
The outfit in question is a mega chic trouser suit get-up by the brand Area, with a plunging neckline and pair of subtly tailored trousers. While the suit is, undeniably, cool, it's the detailing that really catches our attention.
When you zoom in, you can see that the set features a load of chains delicately draped across both the jacket and trousers. But they're not just any chains, no sir. They're gold nameplate necklaces and yep, they've been customised for Bey.
The chains feature the words 'Beyonce' (makes sense) and the designer brand name, 'Area'. If you scroll through the series of images, the final snap shows Beyoncé wearing not one but two gold nameplate necklaces, layered over a third style. Check it out:
While you might not be able to walk anywhere quietly in Bey's suit (what with the jangling necklaces and very real risk of getting caught on every single door handle), it's a total mood.
