Beyoncé And Jay-Z Support Blue Ivy On The Red Carpet For The 'Mufasa' Premiere
Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a rare joint red-carpet appearance to support Blue Ivy at the world premiere of Disney’s Mufasa, a live-action prequel to The Lion King in which Blue voices Kiara, the daughter of Beyoncé’s lioness character Nala.
The trio was joined by Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles. Together, the foursome posed for pictures on the red carpet.

Beyoncé matched with her 12-year-old daughter in gold, with the mogul wearing a strapless black gown studded with metallic gold polka dots. Blue took the spotlight in a voluminous ballgown made of fabric with a glamorous gold sheen.
Knowles and Jay-Z took more subdued approaches to their style. The family matriarch wore a black off-the-shoulder top with black trousers and a leather belt with an ornate, oversize gold buckle. Meanwhile, the rapper wore a dark brown suit with a black tie.
The family’s appearance came a day after Jay-Z, whose birth name is Shawn Carter, was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs 24 years ago. The lawsuit was originally filed in October, naming Combs as the defendant. On Sunday, the suit was refiled to include Jay-Z.
Working with Houston-based lawyer Tony Buzbee, the anonymous plaintiff has alleged that she was raped at a MTV Video Music Awards after party in 2000.
Jay-Z has since denied the allegations. In a statement released by Roc Nation, the musician accused Buzbee of a 'blackmail attempt' intended to 'make me want to settle.'
'It had the opposite effect,' Jay-Z continued in his statement. 'It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion.'
He went on to reference Beyoncé, with whom he shares three children, including Blue and seven-year-old twins Rumi and Sir: 'My only heartbreak is for my family. My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people.'
The lawsuit comes amid a wave of sex trafficking and racketeering charges made against Combs, who is currently being held in a federal detention facility in Brooklyn following his arrest this past September. Combs, who has pled not guilty, will head to trial in May 2025.
