Beyoncé dominates the 2021 Grammy nominations

The nominations for the 2021 Grammy Awards have officially been announced, revealing stars like Beyoncé, Fiona Apple, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Chloe x Halle, Phoebe Bridgers, Bad Bunny, and Doja Cat to be among the latest set of nominees.

Queen Bey takes the lead with nine nominations in total, but women are dominating the lists overall. The LA Times points out that the four general categories are led by women, and for the first time in history, the Best Rock Performance nominees are all women.
