Forget teddy bears and big bouquets of red roses, the real highlight of our Valentine's Day has to be the supermarket meal deals (although we wouldn't say no to some flowers).
Every year the major supermarkets release a dinner meal deal of some kind. It's usually made up of a starter, main, side, dessert and a bottle of something boozy. The best part? They're usually between £15 to £20, meaning you can save a load of money on a supermarket meal that would usually cost you around £30.
And our wallets are looking a little stretched right now, so a supermarket Valentine's Day meal deal, with a rom-com on in the background, is the ideal way to have a great date night or Galentine's Day without breaking the bank.

These are all the supermarket Valentine's Day meal deals you can get right now for date night, or you know a random Thursday evening, we won't judge.
Co-op
What’s included?: The Valentine's deal includes one main dish, one side and one bottle of wine for £10 for Co-op members, or £12 for non-members. You can then add on a sweet treat for after the meal with dessert prices ranging from £1.50 to £3.00 for members and £1.75 to £3.85 for non-members.
When’s it available?: From 5th to 19th February in store and online.
Any highlights?: New to the deal this year is the Irresistible Chicken Parmigiana, made with British chicken breasts that are coated with a crisp Parmigiano Reggiano and ciabatta crumb, topped with rich marinara sauce and melted mozzarella and Cheddar cheese, and honestly it sounds incredible. We'll be getting it with a side of Irresistible Dauphinoise Potatoes and a bottle of Prosecco.

What's included?: A starter main, a side, a dessert and drink for £18.00 (Clubcard members only) in large Tesco stores. A main, side, dessert and drink for £12.00 in Tesco Express stores (Clubcard members only).
When's it available?: From 10th-16th February.
Any highlights?: This year you can get a four pack of MOTH cocktails which will be going straight in our basket. We're also eyeing up the raspberry and pistachio tart for dessert.

Any highlights?: The 'You’re My No.1’ chocolate torte bars are calling our name for dessert, as is the strong side offering, which includes a Cauliflower & Broccoli Three Cheese Gratin.
