For those of you who have been hiding from the world’s media for the past 48 hours, Pippa Middleton got married on Saturday.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s younger sister wed James Matthews (brother of Made in Chelsea lothario Spencer Matthews) in a lavish yet intimate ceremony in Berkshire.

Major royals include Kate, William, George and Charlotte were in attendance along with Prince Harry who was disappointingly flying solo.

Pippa’s bespoke Giles Deacon gown caused awe across social media with people labelling the lacy design as “stunning”.

But some were less than complimentary about Kate’s “matronly” McQueen dress.

Others likened the page boy’s silk knickerbockers to classic film, The Sound of Music.

People couldn’t stop laughing at Prince George’s adorable look in particular.

The mother-of-the-bride, Carole Middleton, was slammed for showing her knee. Yes, really.

James Middleton’s girlfriend Donna Air was criticised for wearing an off-white dress (although it may have been yellow).

Twitter users were not fans of the looks from the less famous guests.

And America developed a massive crush on Spencer Matthews and his suave new look.
