The best Twitter reactions to Harry Styles hosting Saturday Night Live
Harry Styles made all of our dreams come true last night, hosting AND performing on US show Saturday Night Live in a heavenly double-whammy appearance. The show comes days after he announced his new album Fine Line will be released on 12 December, which fans think is proof of his rumoured bisexuality.
Appearing on stage in New York, Harry delivered one of SNL's iconic monologues, which is tradition for every host to perform. He used the opportunity to throw some playful shade at his ex-One Direction bandmates, saying "I love those guys, they're my brothers. Niall, Liam, Louis... and, er, Ringo," referring to the supposed feud with Zayn after he left the band in 2015.
Receiving huge laughs from the crowd, Harry continued to joke, "I'm just so glad Simon Cowell grew us in those test tubes."
Harry went on to act in sketches throughout the show, in true SNL style, including as an irresponsible airline pilot, a chihuahua-turned-human and a gangster.
Switching from host to musical guest, Harry then took to the stage to perform his new single 'Lights Up', which fans are speculating could be a coming-out anthem, as well as a previously-unheard album track, 'Watermelon Sugar'.
Fans have understandably been loving the new content from Harry and have taken to Twitter to voice their excitement over his SNL appearance.
One of Harry's acting roles saw him dress up as a ballerina and fans obviously can't contain themselves.
