From Good Housekeeping

Disney+ has just launched it's new streaming channel Star - and it's filled with brilliant stuff to watch.

The new service brings over 75 TV series and almost 300 films to our screens for Disney+ subscribers; both original content and favourites we know and love - there's plenty of content to keep everyone occupied, from Star original Big Sky (with Ryan Phillippe) to Desperate Housewives.

As well as offering a wealth of new and classic shows and movies, Disney+ has launched new parental controls meaning you can set limits on access to content based on age ratings, and you can add a PIN to lock profiles so kids don't accidentally stumble upon mature content.

Here's our list of all the best things to watch on Star...

Big Sky

Ryan Phillippe stars in this crime thriller from David E Kelley, the man behind Big Little Lies and The Undoing. Two sisters are kidnapped by a trucker - and it's a race against time to find the women before he strikes again.

Scandal

What would Olivia Pope do? Watch this gem from TV royalty Shonda Rhimes, that’s what. This award-winning political thriller, starring Kerry Washington, is a must see.

Feud: Bette and Joan

Inspired by the real life rivalry between Hollywood legends Joan Crawford and Bette Davis, this absolutely brilliant series looks at their relationship at the end of their careers, on and off camera. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon are, predictably, utterly outstanding in this.

Grey's Anatomy

Does this show - another Shonda Rhimes classic - even need an introduction? One of the most well-loved series ever made is now available on Star, so you can relive all those medical moments and emotional rollercoasters of all 17 seasons.

The X Files

You’ll be pleased to know that as well as the truth being out there, The X Files TV series and the films are too - and both are available on Star. Way before The Crown, The Fall and Sex Education, Gillian Anderson was the unstoppable Agent Dana Scully, tracking down those alien beings and hanging out in Area 51.

Genius: Aretha

Cynthia Erivo stars in this must-watch series about the Queen of Soul. It explores Aretha’s incredible career, alongside the importance of her cultural impact and her championing of civil rights. An absolute legend.

Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

It’s icons only in this charming drama about a group of retirees who travel to India, which stars Dame Judi Dench, Dame Maggie Smith, and Bill Nighy. Perfect for when you need a film that’s the equivalent of a hug.

Cocktail

Tom Cruise looking *hot* while slinging fancy beverages behind a bar or two? What’s not to love? Mix up your viewing with this iconic favourite from the 80s.

The Devil Wears Prada

Yes, we know florals for spring are not, in fact, groundbreaking. But watching this in loungewear or something fashion villain Miranda Priestly (played by the unmatchable Meryl Streep) would absolutely disapprove of, can be.

Pretty Woman

If you don’t watch this Julia Roberts and Richard Gere romcom classic you’d be making a big mistake. Huge.
