Well not anymore because those beauty products we have been lusting after for so long, have steadily been making their way across the pond.

Last year we had the UK birth of Glossier (for which our millennial pink Instagram feeds are eternally grateful) and now beauty blogger (and skincare obsessive) Caroline Hirons has confirmed that one of Sephora's best-selling skincare brands is finally launching in the UK this year.

In a post on her website Caroline reported that Drunk Elephant will be coming to our shores in 2018, exclusive to Space NK. Well, that news has now officially been confirmed, and from 3rd October you will be able to buy Drunk Elephant products from Cult Beauty and Space NK.

Launched in 2013 by founder Tiffany Masterson, Drunk Elephant got its name from one of her favourite skincare ingredients, Marula oil. After Tiffany did some research into Marula she discovered videos of intoxicated-looking elephants, who after eating Marula fruit end up pretty similar to us after one too many Jäger bombs.

Drunk Elephant's philosophy is that to only use ingredients that either directly benefit the skin's health, or support the effectiveness of their formulations and to remove any 'question mark' ingredients.

Their 'question mark' ingredients include any 'obvious toxins and controversial synthetics' and any ingredients that carry a potential risk to external skin health (i.e essential oils which can cause sensitivity).

Not only is Drunk Elephant an incredibly effective skincare line (I've been smuggling it back from Sephora for a while), it's also housed in some pretty adorable packaging that will up anyones Instagram #shelfie game.

And while we wait for October, we might as well make a start on our shopping list based on their best-selling products on Sephora.
