Rosé wine is one of the UK's favourite wine styles, with millions of bottles being sold every year. To help you navigate the daunting selection of options available, our taste team tested 29 widely available light rosés so you know which bottle to stock up on for summer.

Our panel, led by the Good Housekeeping Institute's wine expert, Alexandra Hale, were looking for rosé wines with a delicate, balanced flavour profile.

Typically with rosé wine, you're looking for elegant, light red fruit, melon and citrus flavours fill the nose and mouth alongside refreshing acidity, smooth texture and a pleasant lingering finish – think delightful strawberries, raspberries and cream in a glass.
