The best restaurants in Morzine
The predominance of half-board chalet-style accommodation in Morzine means most visitors are likely to dine in with the exception of the staff night off. And when that comes around, there’s a reasonable range of options to choose from, whether good-value pizza or top notch dining.
The choice is similar on the pistes, including places to suit all budgets with an emphasis on traditional Savoyard fare.
Solide café, in the centre of Morzine, is the most exciting new opening for 2023/24 where, after 12 years as a chef in Michelin starred restaurants in Paris, Antony Doraland offers a limited, freshly prepared menu, featuring healthy seasonal dishes, including vegetarian choices.
For further Morzine inspiration, see our guides to the resort's best accommodation, restaurants and après ski.

Changabang
At the top of Les Prodains cable car in Avoriaz, Changabang has arguably the best and most reasonably-priced burgers and wraps in the Portes du Soleil. It does cater for vegetarians – although the burger option is a fried egg in a bun. To find the restaurant, head out from the top of the lift and cross the piste.

Chez Nannon
With the scent of bubbling pans of melted Reblochon cheese issuing a greeting from afar, Chez Nannon is reached by either the Ravarettes or Troncs Express chairlifts in Morzine's Nyon sector. It is a classic Haute-Savoyard restaurant with cheese, potatoes and air-dried meat the main fare, but it also serves steak, burgers, and a dish of the day. The braised knuckle of ham with mustard sauce is particularly good.
