The best and funniest tweets about Beyonce and Jay Z’s twins
Finally, some happy news.
On Father's Day, Mathew Knowles - Beyonce's dad - posted an Instagram image that read: "Happy Birthday to the twins! Love Granddad."
It was the announcement her fans (nickname the Bey Hive) had been waiting for. They flooded the internet with messages - first in shock, then excitement and finally in desperation for photo evidence.

But not everyone was thrilled. Here, we've rounded up the best, worst and funniest reactions to the news.
Starting with the negative (to get it out of the way)
Some social media users are concerned that the fierce attention around the twins' birth may force Beyonce to hide them away and avoid the spotlight. Other celebrities, Adele and Julia Roberts, have done this in the past - a move we anticipate would only send the Bey Hive into overdrive.
Do we even deserve to see Beyonce's twins? Especially after how the world treated Blue.

To that end, many have been calling for respect towards Beyonce and Jay-Z during such an important family time
While she is the most marketable person on the planet and whatever she touches turns to gold, Beyoncé is a PERSON not a product.

While others are just tired of the endless #beyonce#twins tweets.

And a few are devastated that she has given birth at all - not even Beyonce can manage a superhuman gestation period...
I'm sad the Pregnant Beyoncé era is over. She served iconic aesthetics. Her grammy performance is still unparalleled.

And the impatient
Just one day after Matthew Knowles Instagram post, some fans are already bored with waiting for a photo to be released

The comedians
The majority of Twitter jokes have been based around Beyonce's status as an empowering woman

Five year-old Blue Ivy came under huge scrutiny when she was first born - and her unusual name criticised. Now similarly unique suggestions are being proposed for the twins
Me: I wonder what names go with Blue Ivy.

While some fans are speculating about the lengths they might go to in order to catch a glimpse of the twins

Some generous souls have even spared a thought for the hospital staff - deemed the ‘lucky’ ones to have caught a glimpse of the already famous pair

One of the most important questions of the Bey-Z birth is how Blue Ivy will take to her new baby siblings

Of course, we also have to consider that the announcement may not be true; without Queen Bey’s verification some fans refuse to succumb to the media hype. The question is, when will she speak out?
