Following last year’s Covid-cancelled event, Wimbledon is back!

And just as the players have had time the practice their volleys, so too the celeb attendees have had plenty of time to plan their courtside looks, which are often as intriguing as the action on court. But which celebs will serve a Grand Slam in this year’s style stakes?

The annual event, which was cancelled last year for the first time since World War 2, has been a hot ticket for the A-list for decades. Unlike other British summer events, such as Royal Ascot, Wimbledon doesn't have a strict dress code for its spectators, but that hasn't stopped the stars from slipping into their Sunday best each year.

The Duchess of Cambridge and sister Pippa Middleton, both keen tennis fans, are pros at understated tennis-ready femininity, with the Duchess often opting for elegant shift dresses in polka dot prints and block colours.

And the Duchess isn’t the only royal who has aced tennis attire over the years. Princess Diana was also a fan of the event, often choosing smart tailored blazers on her visits to SW19.

Meghan Markle also embraced white tailoring when she joined sister-in-law Kate in the Royal Box in 2018, pairing a blue and white stripe shirt with cream floor-skimming high-waisted trousers and a white Panama hat.

Other women who have wowed courtside include Heidi Klum, Sienna Miller, Keira Knightley, Beyoncé, Anne Hathaway and Victoria Beckham. However, over the years, their sartorial efforts have often been outshone by the one and only Anna Wintour.

The matriarch of American Vogue and regular Wimbledon-goer usually selects a strikingly stylish ensemble each year - from a heritage-inspired tweed dress to an always on-point floral number. In 2015 she even managed to match her outfit to the chairs. Impressive.

Finally, let's not forget the dapper gents.
