For many people, dogs have brought much-needed joy and support during these (don’t say it, don’t say it…) unprecedented times. So, don’t you think they deserve a thank you? Maybe a thank you in the shape of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream?

Ben & Jerry’s ice cream for dogs exists, and we’re jealous of the flavours on offer for your furry friend.

Saying that, there’s currently not a dog version of Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough, so at least we still have that over our four-legged friends. The two flavours on offer in the Doggie Desserts range do sound amazing though.

The first option is Rosie’s Batch, which is pumpkin flavoured and is stuffed with mini cookies.

The second flavour on offer is Pontch’s Mix, which features peanut butter and pretzel swirls.

And in case you’re wondering, they’re named after dogs who belong to people working at Ben & Jerry’s.

Too cute.

Now, of course, these aren’t actually ice creams as doggos shouldn’t be eating ice cream made for humans as dairy is not good for their soft little bellies. Instead, the desserts are made from sunflower butter, which is safe for dogs to eat. And humans too, if you fancy giving these Doggie Desserts a go yourself…

Unfortunately, these dog treats are currently only available in the USA, but we’re hoping that Ben & Jerry’s will see how popular they are, and bring them across the pond asap.
