If you've been craving some chic red carpet style in your life, fear not, Bella Hadid is delivering the goods directly from Cannes. Praise be! Following her recent vintage number (previously donned by Naomi Campbell), the model's just gone and worn another avant-garde design, this time by Schiaparelli Couture.
This weekend, Bella arrived at the Tre Piani screening sporting a long-sleeve black dress with a neckline so low, it sits below the bust. We did say it was daring, after all. In place of an exposed corset or bra, Hadid rocks a huge (AKA deliciously extra) gold necklace embellished with rhinestones, designed in the shape of lungs. Kind trippy right?
I have precisely zero idea how comfortable this accessory situation would be (I'm really hoping there's some kind of neutral-toned mesh layer underneath) but, needless to say, Bella looks phenom.

Here's a close up of said necklace:
The sizeable number was coupled with a pair of ruby red earrings, which go perfectly with Bella's schmick up do.
Bella shared a red carpet snap of the 'fit on Instagram Stories with the caption "@schiaparelli Thank you angel @danielroseberry This creation of yours is a dream come true. Art&reality. You and your mind are truly incredible!!! Thank you for Ever!!!"
"Schiaparelli is pleased to announce that @bellahadid appeared in #Schiaparelli Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2021/22, designed by Daniel Roseberry, at the premiere of “Tre Piani (Three Floors)” at the 74th Cannes Film Festival," adds the brand on Instagram.
"#BellaHadid wore a long-sleeved dress in wool crepe with a low-cut neckline, and a gilded brass necklace in the shape of trompe l’œil lungs adorned with rhinestones."
For those playing at home wondering what the eff 'trompe l’œil' means, it's an artsy term that basically means an optical illusion - y'know, because of the gold lung placement etc?
While this style might not be everyone's cup of tea, we certainly love a bold red carpet choice and think Bella looks approx. 1 million bucks.
