BBC The Traitors fans demand rule change to final after 'anti climax'
Fans of BBC's The Traitors are demanding producers make a major alteration to the game in a bid to ramp up tension during the final.
On Friday night (January 24), the psychological game, fronted by host Claudia Winkleman, came to a dramatic end as final players Francessca, Jake, Alexander and Leanne tried their best to discover whether there were any Traitors still in their midst.
But unknown to most of them in the game, Charlotte, who was, in fact, a Traitor, remained undetected. Before the drama kicked off, Francessca was given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become The Seer. The unbelievable power allowed her to discover whether one of her fellow players was a Faithful or a Traitor.

Miraculously, Francessca chose Charlotte, but despite the bombshell revelation, Charlotte was not going down without a fight and tried to convince the remaining Faithfuls that Francessca was the Traitor and was likely working with Alexander.
This left the remaining players confused as they were unsure of who to banish in the final round table.
But although they did manage to spot that the Traitor was Charlotte, things took a devastating turn when players Alexander and Francessca also came under scrutiny too.
With £94,600 at stake, Jake and Leanne decided not to stop the game and voted out Francessca and Alexander, whom they believed were Traitors—despite getting it wrong, this led to Jake and Leanne's victory.
But fans were left unimpressed by the result as they claimed there should be more consequences if players vote off a fellow Faithful, with the prize fund reduced each time a Faithful is banished in the end game.
Heading over to X, formerly known as Twitter, viewers shared their grievances.
One fan said: "Was a bit of an anticlimax once Charlotte had gone as it was just between the Faithful and money was guaranteed as a viewer the suspense had already gone, rules should change next year whereas each faithful leaves the pot goes down and final 2 rule should go #TheTraitors."
Another echoed: "Next year: reduce the prize fund for every faithful binned off in the final. All Jake and Leanne had to do was keep voting and watching their winnings go up and up. #TheTraitors."
A third argued: "They need a STEEP cash penalty for Faithfuls voting Faithfuls out at the end because WHAT is all of this."
Another fan replied to a tweet about the reduction in agreement and wrote: "100%. They also need more jeopardy over the money. Reward Traitors for their game play and penalise faithfuls for being idiots. Charlotte was the best game player all season and was rewarded with...producers intervening to bin her. Disappointing final really."
The Traitors is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
