BBC Strictly's Amy Dowden says she's 'gutted' as she suffers new blow
Just weeks after she was forced to pull out of Strictly Come Dancing with a foot injury, Amy Dowden has suffered another career setback.
The Caerphilly-born star had filmed a Celebrity MasterChef Strictly takeover for a Christmas special featuring four professional dancers from the BBC series including Gorka Marquez, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu alongside her.
But following allegations of inappropriate behaviour from MasterChef host Gregg Wallace towards a number of women, the BBC has pulled the show as well as another Celebrity MasterChef festive special.
Amy spoke about her disappointment when she appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Friday, December 6, which was hosted by Christine Lampard.

"I'm gutted about that," Amy told Christine. "I did have a lovely time but I can't comment further about that as it is under investigation. I'm actually gutted, I can't say I'm the best chef but I did my best."
Amy appeared on the morning show to highlight Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week, which runs the first week of December in a bid to educate people about inflammatory bowel diseases, something which Amy herself has suffered with since she was a child.
Amy spoke about how she's managed her illness throughout her high-profile career as a dancer and said that many people now forget she has the disease, especially since her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment last year.
She also looked ahead to the Strictly Come Dancing semi final this weekend which will see her celebrity partner JB Gill now dancing with Lauren Oakley after Amy was forced to pull out from the series through injury just weeks after her comeback following her breast cancer treatment.
Amy had actually prepped some of their best dances for later on in the competition as she was so confident the JLS star would do so well.
She said: "The first time I took hold of JB and did a few steps I knew he had the potential, the talent, musicality, the groove in his body and I think he will be in that final."
Amy added: "We speak most days and I'll be cheering him on."
Lorraine is on ITV1 weekdays at 9am and on ITVX
