BBC Strictly Vito Coppola's sweet message to 'my baby' as he shares love for co-star
Strictly Come Dancing star Vito Coppola has opened up about his feelings for one of his co-stars as he penned a sweet birthday message to her.
The professional dancer has shared a string of photos to his Instagram account of Ellie Leach, who he won the BBC series with in 2023, and spoke about his love for her. It comes as the pair have been continuously dogged by rumours that they are dating.
Vito said: "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BABY @ellielouiseleach BE ALWAYS THE AMAZING PERSON YOU ARE. LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Wish you only beautiful things, because as I say BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE DESERVE BEAUTIFUL THINGS."

He added: "You know everything and just a reminder: no matter when or where you are…If you need me I’m here!"
Former Coronation Street actress Ellie replied saying: "These pics are the cutest!!!!!! love you (heart emoji)."
While they've denied speculation they are romantically involved, it seems that fans think they would make the perfect couple. Commenting on the post, one said: "The 2nd last photo, is beautiful. True love in its form." And a second said: "You look so happy together." A third added: "Just get married. You’re made for each other."
Another chimed in: "These pics are the cutest!!!!!! love you." While one fan commented: "Always and forever my favourite duo!!! Happy birthday Ellie."
Since lifting the glitterball trophy and getting matching bee tattoos to celebrate, Vito and Ellie have remained in constant touch and often share posts of their catch ups, including Celebrity MasterChef winner Vito and Ellie cooking up a storm in the kitchen together.
In 2024, Vito teamed up with another actress on Strictly, Sarah Hadland, and the pair made it through to the final but were pipped to the post by comedian Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell.
Discussing Vito's new partner when she was interviewed on BBC Radio 2 last September, Ellie said she was “quietly hoping” the pair would not get matching tattoos.
She said at the time: “Maybe they can do something else that can symbolize their friendship?”
