BBC Strictly finalists look unrecognisable in throwback snaps as they compete for Glitterball
The grand finale of Strictly Come Dancing is set to air this weekend on BBC, with one celebrity poised to take home the coveted Glitterball trophy. After months of twirling and tangoing, the time has come for a new champion to be declared.
This year's finalists include Tasha Ghouri, JB Gill, Chris McCausland and Sarah Hadland, who have all danced their way into the final round. Last weekend saw the remaining contestants perform two routines in a bid to win over the judges.
JLS star JB Gill led the pack with an impressive combined score of 79. Hot on his heels was Love Island's Tasha Ghouri, who secured a total of 75 points for her performances.
Despite her high score, she found herself in the dreaded dance-off. Tasha faced off against TOWIE's Pete Wicks for the final spot in the grand finale. The judges unanimously chose to keep Tasha in the competition.
While viewers are accustomed to seeing the finalists decked out in sequins and feathers each week, they haven't always looked that way. We're delving into the archives to unearth some pre-Strictly photos of the stars.
Following her stint on Love Island a few years ago, Tasha took to Instagram to answer fan questions. When asked about her natural hair colour, the contestant revealed that her current shade isn't her original hue.

Sharing a throwback moment on social media, the now 26-year-old star appeared barely recognisable as she flaunted long brown hair that cascaded down just above her waist. She captioned the image: "It's not! Mousey brown it is. This also used to be my natural length."
While Tasha has returned to her blonde roots currently, she had experimented with Amber tones earlier this year, which sent fans and fellow Love Island alumni into a tizzy, showering her with compliments on her daring change.
It seems Tasha isn't the only one favouring lighter shades lately as actress Sarah Hadland has also switched from brunette to blonde. Known for her role in the ITV series The Job Lot back in 2013, Sarah looks strikingly different compared to her usual look that BBC viewers are accustomed to seeing during weekends as she used to sport a shorter, wavier hairstyle that's darker than before.
On another note, Sarah Hadland excitedly shared an update on her social media showcasing her freshly dyed light auburn locks, a few years back in preparation for a forthcoming character. Her joyful post was accompanied by the words: "New job, new hair, woop woop! Thank you so much @thistlecourtneyhair for doing a fabulous job ! ! #redheadshavemorefun @sianygibby #wearesistersnow" (sic).
Sarah's fans were quick to shower her with compliments, with one follower remarking: "That really suits you." Another chimed in: "Loving your redhead look, Sarah." A third added: "That colour looks amazing on you."
Chris has been gracing the stage as a comedian since 2003, and while his appearance hasn't changed significantly over the years, the same can't be said for his Strictly partner Dianne Buswell.
Famous for her fiery red hair on the BBC show, this wasn't always her signature look. The professional dancer, who is naturally brunette, once shared a throwback photo of herself with her original hair colour on Instagram.
JB first made his mark in 2008 when he participated in the singing competition X Factor alongside his JLS bandmates. The now 38 year old ended up as a runner-up in the show's fifth series, losing out to Alexandra Burke.
During his time on the show, JB sported a clean-shaven look with a pattern shaved into his hair. These days, the Strictly star is often seen with facial hair and his hair braided back.
The Strictly Come Dancing final will air on Saturday 14th December on BBC One from 6pm.
