This BBC newsreader DGAF about the royal baby
If you're anything like me, you'll go nuts for anything royal-baby-related. Be it a pregnancy announcement, a hint about the possible gender, a guess at what the newest little royal sprog might be called - get me involved, I want to discuss it.
But not everyone's the same, it seems. Like Simon McCoy, the BBC news presenter who had the apparently arduous task of discussing William and Kate's announcement yesterday that baby number 3 will be with us in April 2018. Because he couldn't have sounded any less interested in the news if he tried, and it's hilarious to watch.
McCoy interrupted whichever story it was he was reporting on to share the announcement from Kensington Palace. "Just got this coming in from Kensington Palace," the newsreader said. "Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April".

But he continued: "Now, bearing in mind they announced that she was pregnant back in September, when it was thought she was around two/three months pregnant, I'm not sure how much news this really is," he said, laughing.
"But it's April, so clear your diaries, get the time booked off" McCoy said, sarcastically.
Not content with leaving it there, the newsreader then tweeted the statement along with an equally unenthusiastic #news hashtag. He really DGAF, does he?
