BBC Morning Live star emotional as fan reveals show helped her save husband's life
Morning Live's Dr Xand received a surprise live on air during the latest episode of the programme after saving someone's life.
Helen Skelton and Gordon Smart were on presenting duty on Monday (November 4) morning and kicked off the latest instalment with an emotional story about a viewer who saved her husband's life after tuning into a recent episode of the BBC show.
Doctor Xand recently appeared on the programme to teach lifesaving CPR moves ahead of the colder months when people are more likely to have heart attacks.
Susan happened to be watching Morning Live that particular day and used the skills she learned just 10 days later after her husband Mick suffered a cardiac arrest at home.

She explained: "After seeing what I saw, I thought 'I'm going to do this'. I used this clothes to gently put him on the floor as I didn't want to hurt his back or his hip, because he's had a hip replacement and back surgery, and started CPR start away."
Susan revealed that she struggled to get her phone to work but she eventually got hold of her daughter, who lives a few minutes away.
She continued: "I kept shouting at my husband 'please don't die' and he's going to hopefully have his defibrillator fitted today."
Helen stepped in to ask: "But he's alive because of what you saw." Dr Xand added: "Susan, I have a lump in my throat listening to you.
As a doctor, I've never been in your position in being the absolute first person there and having to cope and deal with all those things.
"It is so extraordinary to hear about that. I just cannot tell you how much it means, it means an incredible amount and I feel quite emotional." Dr Xand went on to reveal how important it is for people to know CPR moves.
Morning Live airs weekdays on BBC One at 9.30am
