Fresh Prince, which originally aired on BBC Two back in the '90s, is coming back to the Beeb for the first time since 2004. The show made Will Smith a household name as he played a fictionalised version of himself and moved into his Auntie and Uncle's home in Bel-Air, California.

Dan McGolpin, Controller of BBC iPlayer, said: "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and its all-star cast will amuse and entertain a new generation through BBC iPlayer and there is an opportunity to re-indulge for those who enjoyed the series on BBC screens the first time around.

"Together with new series Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists and all previous series of Pretty Little Liars, we will have more choice than ever before to kick-off 2021. Whatever your age and whatever your mood, there is a series waiting for you on BBC iPlayer."

Pretty Little Liars began airing in 2010, it had seven seasons and became iconic for teens and young adults. The show is set in Rosewood, Pennsylvania and follows the lives of four girls whose friendship begins to fall to pieces after the disappearance of their friendship group leader, Alison DiLaurentis.

The show helped propel the careers of its four main cast members – Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario).

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Pretty Little Liars will be on BBC iPlayer from January 1, 2021.
