Bayern Munich host title rivals Leipzig in a German top-of-the-table clash on Saturday evening.

The European champions will remain top of the Bundesliga if they avoid defeat at the Allianz Arena as Leipzig would leapfrog their rivals with a win.

Both sides played in the Champions League this week, and Bayern manager Hansi Flick made nine changes ahead of the draw with Atletico while Julian Nagelsmann’s Leipzig could be emotionally and physically spent after their dramatic 4-3 win in Istanbul.

Bayern will be without Joshua Kimmich and Alphonso Davies as the duo target returns from injury in the New Year, but Robert Lewandowski is back after being rested for the midweek clash.

After scoring in three successive games, French winger Kingsley Coman will likely start over former-Manchester City star Leroy Sane.

Lepizig are still missing Konrad Laimer, Lukas Klostermann and Fabrice Hartmann through injury.

Nagelsmann will be wary of fatigue after their midweek drama, so Marcel Halstenberg could start against Bayern while Tyler Adams and Christopher Nkunku are in the mix, too.

How to watch

The match will be broadcast live on BT Sport 1 from 5:15pm GMT ahead of kick-off at 5:30pm GMT. BT Sport subscribers can stream live on the BT Sport website and the BT Sport app.
