Barack Obama shares the sweetest birthday message for Michelle
Michelle Obama marks her 56th birthday today, 17 January, and her husband Barack has shared the sweetest message to celebrate.
The former president tweeted a series of black and white photobooth snaps, showing the couple in a series of adorable poses.
Barack captioned the post: "In every scene, you are my star, @MichelleObama! Happy birthday, baby!"

This isn't the first time he's shared a simple, yet touching message to mark his wife's birthday.
Last year, he posted a smiling snap of the two of them in their younger years, where Barack stands with his arm round Michelle.

"I knew it way back then and I’m absolutely convinced of it today — you’re one of a kind, @MichelleObama. Happy Birthday!" he wrote.
The two are set to release a range of projects will cover issues like race, class, democracy and civil rights through feature films, documentaries and docu series with Netflix.
“One of the simple joys of our time in public service was getting to meet so many fascinating people from all walks of life, and to help them share their experiences with a wider audience,” Barack said at the time.
“That’s why Michelle and I are so excited to partner with Netflix- we hope to cultivate and curate the talented, inspiring, creative voices who are able to promote greater empathy and understanding between peoples, and help them share their stories with the entire world.”
Their shows will be released over the next few years and aim to reach more than 148 million Netflix users worldwide.
