No one is immune to baking fails β€” no one! We've all burned something, added too much or too little of an ingredient, or totally botched decorating in one way or another. This is exactly what happened to self-taught baker Emma Plummer when some of her macarons came out looking like, well, uh, um, scrotums. There I said it.

Emma is from Arizona, where she bakes and sells French macarons and posts the beautiful photos of her final products on her baking accounts. She's shared photos of all sorts of macarons β€” even some shaped like Mickey Mouse! β€” on her page, but when she tried out a new recipe for Valentine's Day things took a turn.

"I was starting to prepare for Valentine's Day pre-orders," Plummer told Delish US. "I had never piped any other shape except circles before so this had presented a whole different market than what I was going for."

When she posted the photo of the baking fail on her Twitter account, it quickly went viral. She captioned it, "I tried to make hearts and they turned out like ballsacks," and it now has over 185,000 likes and 40,000 retweets. Real mature, guys!

I will say, pretty much everyone hit back with some amazing replies to her tweet. Some thought the mistake wasn't too bad while others suggested she continue making these macarons for different occasions... like bachelorette parties, for one.

At the end of the day, she got a good laugh out of it and let us know that the NSFW macarons did not go to waste. "We ate them last night with some friends while watching The Bachelor!" Emma said.

Oh, and don't worry. She perfected her heart-shaped macarons, too. Although I think both shapes would work for Valentine's Day... if you know what I mean.
